espn2 Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Coop, What does it look like? Any chance of getting the games in Friday night?
espn2 Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 Thanks Coop. Everyone should be able to plan there weekend around that forecast. ;) ;)
Luther X Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 what time in the afternoon will the storms hit?
Foyce Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 3-5 PM or so. Wonder why they did not play the games today? ???
KFDM COOP Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 If any games are rained out Friday they'll be Saturday.
BBrutal Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 We were told that it was against UIL rules to move the game to today. Not sure of the ruling but that is what he said.
Hupernikomen Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 We were told that it was against UIL rules to move the game to today. Not sure of the ruling but that is what he said. Seems like there is rule about 1 game during school week with Friday after school and Saturday not included...something like that..

There is some kind rule like that...believe that UIL got it from NCAA.
Luther X Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Most games if rained out will be moved to Saturday..also seen before where games are made up as a double header if both teams agree on it at a future date.
KFDM COOP Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Right now the storms are staying north of us! Line of storms will build south though this afternoon..
Castor27 Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 YEp the UIL rule is that you are only allowed to play 1 game a week on a School Night (Mon.-Thur.) Fridays and Saturdays do not count towards that rule and tournaments do not either (they are regulated a little differently).
Guest Orangeboy Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 My first question is for Coop? How much rain do you expect in the Jasper area? Jasper Fans? Do you have your field covered?
