Footballblue Posted July 26, 2006 Author Report Posted July 26, 2006 Good picks, I don't know about WOS?
wosgrad-84 Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 west orange should be there if no injurys. our d will be really tough. we were good last year but this year we should be great. just from what i have seen during the 7 on 7 we really have a strong chance. either way i cant wait to find out.
Guest GoStangs Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 They should be good, but there are a lot of pieces that will have to fall into place for them to win state. I'm hoping it will happen, but they're going to have to go past a few very good teams to win the crown.
wosgrad-84 Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 well from talking to coach, giddings seem to be the team they are most concered with. there sophmore quarterback showed tons of talent last year but not even that should not win against a tough d. but like you said the pieces have to fall in the right place and i see that happening.
Footballblue Posted July 26, 2006 Author Report Posted July 26, 2006 I still think HUtto will be to much for WOS this year?
KFDM COOP Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Na, overall WOS will be better even without Beasley. Better on the lines, just as much speed, and a backfield like they haven't had in a while.
wosgrad-84 Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 I still think HUtto will be to much for WOS this year?the hippos are good but giddings should be better this year.
KFDM COOP Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Yea after seeing all the underclassmen they had i knew last year Giddings would be quite good this year again.
kicker Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 Yea after seeing all the underclassmen they had i knew last year Giddings would be quite good this year again. We might not even see Giddings, we will prolly be D2. So we need to look toward who BC had to play last year.
DP#1FAN Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 Coop I like your picks. Southeast Texas is represented well with WOS and Newton.
Guest Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 question about WOS. who are they in district with and who is bigger. i guess what i'm really trying to find out is why coop has them dII.
kicker Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 question about WOS. who are they in district with and who is bigger. i guess what i'm really trying to find out is why coop has them dII. Well, Silsbee is bigger, and BC is close. Im not sure about Kirbyville, but we(WOS) are losing students every year. Bottom line, if Silsbee goes to the playoffs, we go D2
DP#1FAN Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Heard Gilmer should be tuff this year. What are there #s.
Guest GoStangs Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 who are they in district with and who is bigger Here you go: Silsbee 827 Jasper 819 West Orange-Stark 775 Bridge City 754.5 Hardin-Jefferson 706 Hamshire-Fannett 581 Orangefield 473 Kirbyville 453.5
kicker Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Heard Gilmer should be tuff this year. What are there #s. Im not sure, I know they are in the greater DFW though. So if its like Houston up there, they'll prolly be 5A in two years
KFDM COOP Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Yea looks as though WOS will go D2 for a change.
kicker Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Yea looks as though WOS will go D2 for a change. How do you go from 4A to D2 3A in two years?
kicker Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Numbers. Coop,......I knew that. I was metaphoricaly speaking
KFDM COOP Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 I know.. Families are moving out of Orange though, no doubt about it.
Guest GoStangs Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Here is a link to enrollments per 3A district: http://www.uil.utexas.edu/2006align/pdf/3A_fb_enroll.pdf
kicker Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 I know.. Families are moving out of Orange though' date=' no doubt about it.[/quote'] Yeah, but to where? No OC schools are really growing
KFDM COOP Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Good question? But with numbers dropping some each year they have to be going somewhere.
