bullets13
There's a lot of talk that he might. He said he was going to think "long and hard" about his decision. If he comes back, Texas should be the preseason #1 at the start of next season.
Guest DickVitale
He's a smart kid (3.7 GPA, Academic All American) as well as a fantastic basketball player...I would like to see those other kids GPA's that are trying to jump to the NBA early...Probably a bunch of 2.0's, 1.9's, 1.7's, etc..! I would really like to see that...It DOES make a difference in a lot of these guys decisions....Try to get to the NBA...or be academically ineligible next season...What do you do? :

shorttexas1
Becasue of his hight he will go from 10 - 20!!!! That is really good for him. This is a strong class and next years class is supposed to be severly weaker. He could be a top five next year... i am a fan so I would love him to stay but he is guarenteed top 20 I say go before you wind up hurt!
shorttexas1
If he returns hands down Texas is number one preseason. But I don't think they will fall as hard as many think if he leaves. Barns has been grooming Mason to be his PG and I think Texas would use a bigger line-up which would help against bigger teams like Memphis was. The line would be Pittman Atchley James Abrams Mason or Atchley Johnson James Abrams Mason
