Well, it may be better for Lamar on Saturday and Sunday.  Sam seldom keeps that up for a whole series.

Varies by league, it's not an NCAA-specific rule.

Some leagues do the mercy rule in league play only during the get-away days (Sunday).

As it relates to OOC play, namely during mid-week games, the coaches work out an agreement before the game in most cases...
