Critter Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Surely we can get some true stats here....
homer321 Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Svoboda at WB has 68 ks in 52 2/3 innings and 5 complete games. His record is 7-1
VOP Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Yes, he is doing great except they are pitching him way too long in games. I don't think HS pitchers should repetitively be over 120 pitches. Not good on arms or bodies regardless of the number of strikeouts you record
Luther X Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Svododa is a great pitcher...fun to watch.

VOP Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Both observation and hearsay. If you have specific information(pitch counts from the books of his complete games) indicating this is inaccurate, I will gladly withdraw my comments as they apply to Svboda and stand corrected. Actually hope it is wrong but know what I saw in at least one game. What do you think pitch count should be on high school kids?

643 Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 Hicks is an incredible pitcher...very fun to watch as is David Drake from the small school of Evadale. Hicks did pitch well the 1 time I saw him this yr, if he were 8-10" taller he'd be something to deal with as a pitcher, a gamer for sure wherever he's at.
baseballmom2xs Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Harrington for PNG has 75 Ks in 50 innings pitched. He has a 0.69 ERA for the season but a .40 for district play.
