jmk Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 Good conditions were on hand and Nederlands 800 man took advantage. There was stiff competition with a guy from The Woodlands settiing the pace with a blistering 1:53.3, followed by St.Thomas with a 1:54.75, and Nederland with a personal best of 1:55.05.(FAT) He then came back with a good performance in the 400 running 49.40 for second place.

cardinalcc Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 That was easily the fastest 800 I have ever seen in person. The guy from the Woodlands came through the 400 in 52. Krautz from Nederland hung right there with the pack, it was insane. Also a huge congrats to Kirby Shepherd from Bridge City. He has kind of flown under the radar behind Tim and Ryan, but he ran a 4:34 in the 1600 last night AS A FRESHMAN!!!
bmtdc1996 Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 Now that looks like it was an awesome race!! Always glad to see a high school boy double with excellent times in the 400/800. That freshman kid from BC must be awesome too!
