Join us by listening to our Weekly HS Preview Show this Monday at 830 when we will be joined by Bridge City Baseball Coach Billy Bryant.

Bryant and the Cardinals are 13-0 in District 21-3A and have wrapped up yet another district championship.

Plus by the sounds of it, Mike Sanchez is eager to discuss his views on the tie-breaker situation in 4A baseball.

Mike Im sure is still fired up over the 4A tie-breaker rule so get ready for that as well tonight at 830! Im going to eat at Roadhouse first to have the energy to keep up with him!

IMO the tie breaker rule in baseball should not be the same as in basketball or volleyball, ect.  Baseball comes down to pitching matchups.  If two teams are tied at 10-4, they both lost four games.  To me it should not matter to who.  Therefore I think they should have to play.  It is for these reasons that the rule is the way it is in the 4A district.

Coach Bryant really does a great job keeping his kids focused. It would be real easy for a team that talented to get the big head and start looking ahead.
