w518991 Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 How good Silsbee will be next year I know, they return Shannon Robinson, Avery Thomas, Walters, Will Jeremy Johnson play next year you forgot stallworth..Silsbee with those four plus byars, hill, bolton, jackson will be very good team regardless of what johnson does
AggiesAreWe Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 How many returning starters? Silsbee will be returning 3 starters, Robinson, Walters, and Stallworth. But you could make an argument that they are returning 4 starters as Thomas did start some this past season. Returning a 1st team all stater in Robinson, along with "3" other starters to go with a solid bench, Silsbee should be the favorite to win district and advance deep into the playoffs. Another trip to Austin is not out of the question.

Guest stevenash Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 Wondering if we should just go ahead and award them the district title and save everyone the effort involved to find out something that is already known?
AggiesAreWe Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 Wondering if we should just go ahead and award them the district title and save everyone the effort involved to find out something that is already known? I don't think anyone is saying they WILL win district. Saying one is the favorite is not saying they will win it. HJ has been declared the favorite before, nothing to get your dandruff up about. But if you want to go ahead and declare Silsbee the district champs, go right ahead.
Guest stevenash Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 Why would you think the topic raised any dandruff? Ok, I will go ahead and declare them the 08-09 District Champs. Would you please check with UIL and see if they will approve?

Would you please check with UIL and see if they will approve? I don't think the topic raises any dandruff. But it seemed to raise yours with you sarcastic comment about going ahead and awarding the district title to Silsbee. As for the UIL, do you want me to check with them to see if they will allow YOU to declare them district champs or if they will approve of them being district champs if they win it on the court?
Guest stevenash Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 I was merely taking your advice that I should go ahead and declare them district champs. Do you want me to rescind said declaration? Speaking of raising dandruff, I do not recall you challenging anyone else when they made what you thought was a sarcastic remark. To be honest, I felt as though your comment about "going ahead and declaring Silsbee district champs" was as sarcastic as what you thought about my first comment.

You are the only one that made the sarcastic remark about going ahead and declaring them champs. No one else did, therefore I could not "challenge" them. Your sarcastic comment called for one in return. Besides, I did not offer any advice, but I will if you would like.
Guest stevenash Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 There have been plenty of sarcastic remarks on this board over time. If I am understanding you correctly, you didn't appreciate my sarcastic remark so you decided to make one yourself? If you wish to give advice, I am listening.

Guest stevenash Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 HMMMM- "Don't stand in the rain" seems like a sarcastic remark. Are you running for office or just an Obama supporter?

Guest stevenash Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Was that remark intended to be sarcastic?
AggiesAreWe Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Was that remark intended to be sarcastic? No.
Guest stevenash Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Your answers are way too intricate and complicated. Please express yourself in simpler terms.
AggiesAreWe Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 You ask a yes or no question, you get a yes or no answer.
Guest stevenash Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Will Silsbee go undefeated in district basketball play next year?
