ANYONE FISHED TEXAS BAYOU?

Well i have heard stories about texas bayou but have never fished it, anyone have anything to say bout it?

I've caught redfish and flounder there but I haven't been in about three or four years.... or in other words, Post-Rita.

last time i headed down their i caught several nice reds on live shrimp but that was back in december so i dont no how the bite is now

I've heard some noise about that bayou in the past, but I have yet to catch a fish in there,  but I've only fished it 2-3 times.

I've been checked by a federal game warden there while duck hunting.  ;D

We used to fish there all the time b4 Rita.  Had alot of luck with smaller keeper size flounder on minnows/shrimp.  Some good crabbing as well.  I haven't been there since Rita so I don't know now.
