KFDM COOP Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Coach Kyle Green of Vidor has informed me that Vidor will play Galena Park in a best of 3 at Bayton Lee. Game 1 Friday at 6:30, Game 2 Saturday at 2 PM and game 3 will follow if necessary!
RonBurgundy68 Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 I say GP wins game 1, but Vidor comes back and wins games 2 & 3... Good Luck Pirates!
463 DP Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Should be a great series. Two very scrappy teams. Can someone give me Vidors roster with jersey #'s? Thanks
falcolnfanatic Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Gp can hit the ball but they only have one good pitcher in a best of three series vidor should win
EAGLE07 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I say GP wins game 1, but Vidor comes back and wins games 2 & 3... Good Luck Pirates! I agree...Vidor in three. Winning games 2 & 3. Best of luck.
NHS83LU87 Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 Vidor's pitching and bats carry this one in three. Their normally solid infield has had some uncharacteristic errors this year. It's playoff time and they need to step up with the gloves. Bats and pitching are only going to get you through the first round. I know what you're capable and am pulling for you all of the way! Good luck Vidor!
Guest vpirate Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 It's hard to make a prediction. Don't really know much about that district. They're top teams seem to be solid from what I've heard. We are swinging the bats pretty well right now. As in most cases it will come down to pitching and defense. Should be a good series.. Good luck to all the local teams.... Bring it home boys..
vhs Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 I don't know much about GP either, but if what others say is true about their shallow pitching then I like Vidor's chances in three. Vidor seems to have good depth at pitching and the bats are really hot right now.
Foyce Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 I don't know much about GP either, but if what others say is true about their shallow pitching then I like Vidor's chances in three. Vidor seems to have good depth at pitching and the bats are really hot right now. Is Vidor playing a warm up?
Luther X Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 Going to be a great series. Good luck to both schools.
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I say Vidor takes it in 2 games
Vidor50 Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 Good Luck Pirates. Keep sailing along and get r done.
VP Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 I don't know about the stadium but the school is off of hwy 146 on Market Street....the stadium should be around there. I am predicting our Pirates will take this series in 2!!! We are fired up and ready to set sail. ;D
skills123 Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 i like you guys and hope vidor can win, they have a few really good ballplayers who have to step up to the plate and take care of business to beat GP, any mistakes and this one could end real fast, but good luck and go get em
