PNG Proud Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 I haven't fished saltwater all year yet. I've been bass fishing so far, but it's about time to get thinking thata away!
dme1111 Posted May 28, 2008 Author Report Posted May 28, 2008 just letting yall know still catching specks on the rocks... they are biting live shad on the bottom
dme1111 Posted June 4, 2008 Author Report Posted June 4, 2008 I caught them at the 2nd set of pipes near the end of the north revetment road. I have also heard they are catching all the way at the end of the road wading out at the sailboat cut. supposed to be catching them on tequila sunrise eels or berkley gulp white jerk shad
YankeeDawg Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Does anyone know if Texas Bayou (along the road in Sabine Pass) still exists as a fishing spot?? I havent been down there since b4 Rita...we had alot of luck with small but keeper size flounder on minnows and shrimp. And it was a good place to fish with small kids from a safety point of view.
