Interested Observer
Tough break for Johnson but he better than most should know that's how things work. He'll catch on somewhere else....Miami possibly? New York? If D'Antoni get fired in Phoenix.....does he go there?

Guest etbu
Ha Ha I just picked up his Bio where Cuban and Jerry Jones write about how "great of a coach Avery Johnson is". What a business. LOL
bullets13
Someone has to take the blame for Cuban's stupid trade. Amen! Maybe Cuban can coach them next year and they can miss the playoffs all together.
Bucof2010
I think this is a sad loss for the mavs and honestly what talent did he have to work with besides nowitzky he (Nowitzky) was the only really good player. Jason Kidd WAS WAS WAS a star but he's old and tired and did very little to help the cause.
BMTSoulja1
The talent was there. You forgot about Josh Howard? If I'm not mistaken, he was an allstar. I guess it's evident that Avery Johnson took all of Don Nelson's old talent when he was in Dallas.
Bucof2010
I did forget Josh Howard but even still he's no Paul Pierce by any means.
king
Jeff Van Gundy would be a good fit.
THEBRAIN
No coach will ever win with Dirk as the focal point of offence he's soft gets slapped and pushed around by smaller player Amare now D.west Avery is won of the best young coaches out there he brought D to Dallas

I guess it's evident that Avery Johnson took all of Don Nelson's old talent when he was in Dallas. When? Over who? Never!!! He is not an allstar! Tracey McGrady, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Garnett, Shawne Marion, Dirk Nowisnki, and AK-47 all play his position and he has never been picked over any one of those guys. He had a good team but not good enough to win it and they gave him less when they traded for Kidd. He never had a true post or point. When he got a point he lost whet post he did have and lost his bench! Avery will succeed where ever he goes!
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Someone has to take the blame for Cuban's stupid trade. EXACTLY! why trade the fastest guard in the NBA for an old gimp that just has more than a little left in the tank? future hall-of-famer but you dont make that move. rumor mill Cuban might try to get Iverson from Denver. just what i'm hearing.
