bmtdc1996 Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Like I posted on another thread, I don't know everything that goes on out there in Winnie but this has to be a big shock to all the Bucs. I have always thought very highly of Coach Hargraves, good luck to him and his family.
Ulrich von Lichtenstein Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Livingston's Sigler resigns. He is the former basketball coach for Silsbee High School. Does anyone know why he left? Who's going to be the new Livingston coach?
bmtdc1996 Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Now the next big question is, "Who will lead the EC Bucs into the playoffs next year?" Anyone on the staff ready to make the move up? I have heard about one of the assistants, supposed to be a pretty sharp basketball guy. Anyone know about him or the plan out there?
shooter Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 They (the Tyler news) said that Bullard is loaded, so this seems like a great move for Coach Hargraves. I drove through the area last year and like most towns, they seem to be growing. Good Luck!
shooter Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 Bowles resigns from Woodville, moving North.
soonermajick Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 Bowles is going to Yantis as AD/hd bb. Woodville has great upcoming young talent... great pay & great facilities. Strong Lil' Dribblers/bb camps & S. league is also well established.
whsalum Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 Coach Bowles would have done a great job at Woodville had he been given the chance. The current AD at Woodville is a football guy plain and simple and the basketball program is going to be on the back burner.Coach Bowles had the summer league established but it hasn't been real strong when you look at some of the other leagues around here.I wish Coach Bowles the best,he is a nice guy and ran a disciplined program for the last couple of years.I can't argue about the facilities but I don't think the job will be as attractive as the previous poster made it sound.Plus the new coach is going to be in a brutal district for the next 2 years.
