Track looks to be just north of due west the next several days. Hopefully the upper high will keep it south of us next week and take it toward South Texas. That's how it looks for now. But that is several days away.

What you see above is the upper levels. It shows the high right on top of us Tuesday evening. That's good, it will keep Chris to our south. Hope this pattern continues.

Well if that thing pushes east at the right time, isnt that very very bad? Wont it keep Chris West and then go North? Right up our alley again?

Right now the high is forecasted to build west into the area by Tuesday and wednesday of next week. If that happens Chris will stay to our south and landfall would be on the mid and lower coast. See ACCUweather's track on page 1.
