Bracket #1: 1 UTSA 22-7. 4 SHSU 18-12, 5 NWST 17-12 and 8 A&MCC 14-15

Bracket #2: 2 Lamar 20-10, 3 TXST 19-11, 6 UTA 16-14 and 7 SLU 15-15

Wednesday, May 21

Game 1 - 9 AM - #3 Texas St-San Marcos vs #6 UT-Arlington

Game 2 - 12 PM - #2 Lamar vs #7 Southeastern La.

Game 3 - 4 PM - #1 UTSA vs #8 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

Game 4 - 7 PM - #4 Sam Houston State vs #5 Northwestern State

Thursday, May 22

Game 15 - 12 PM - Division Winners

Notes

Game 13 will be necessary if the winner of Game 9 also wins Game 11.

Game 14 will be necessary if the winner of Game 10 also wins Game 12.

If only one of the two early games is necessary on Saturday, the first one will be played at 12:00 p.m., and the Championship Game will start 45 minutes following the completion of the noon game.

If both bracket winners are undefeated, the championship game will be played on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. If both “if necessary games†are played, the championship game will start 45 minutes after the second game.

There will be a minimum of 45 minutes between games with no game starting prior to its scheduled start time.

I'm not that optimistic about the tourney.  Lamar handled the bad teams pretty well, but against the good teams they weren't that good.  Hopefully they'll get hot and catch some breaks to win this thing.

SE Louisiana has a stud pitcher that beat Lamar earlie in the season. I am hopefully we can get a few hits off him early and maybe shake his confidence a little.
