82 5A State Champs Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Christian Louis - West Brook C Louis has really bulked up this spring. He's now 6'-1" and 210 lbs. Maybe we should have him playing LB instead! Haha, just kidding!
AJ25 Posted May 31, 2008 Author Report Posted May 31, 2008 Cody Green for sure. What what about the silsbee quarterback? is he all he is cracked up to be? We here in Silsbee like him. Come see for yourself! we'll see when we visit them in preseasonÂ
ozensfinest Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Bellow's is hands down the best QB in this area........
AggiesAreWe Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Bellow's is hands down the best QB in this area........ Funny, Rivals.com doesn't think so. He isn't listed in the top 50 junior recruits in the state. Jeremey Johnson is listed at #38 overall, #5 qb. But, you know how rankings are sometimes. :
football04 Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Jeremy Johnson may be the #5 junior recruit in the state, Kirby Bellow is obviously not, but neither statement tells me who will be the better QB on Friday nights. I think there is a handful of very good QB 's in the area, some are more suited for play at the next level than others, but that doesn't mean they are better on Friday nights. No disrespect to Johnson, he may be better, but not because rival's thinks so.Â
whitewolf09 Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Tony Carmona -Barbers Hill , Jacob Bowling-Barbers Hill , and one more if he makes varsity
AJ25 Posted June 3, 2008 Author Report Posted June 3, 2008 if you have three quarterbacks, then you don't have one quarterback..

Just for kicks here are someleading QB stats for 21-4A in 2007: Name         Comp  Att   Pct.    Yds    TD   INT     Tony Carmona     69   125   55.2   1216   17   5 (Barbers Hill) Josh Williams      10    40   25     204    0    3 (C.E. King) Durran Starks     116   204   56.86   1839   19   6 (Crosby) Tommy Peters     39    95    41.05   559    2   6 (Forest Brook) Gahn McGaffie     54    83    65.06   577    3   0 (Galena Park) Jimmy Martin      66    141   46.81  803    3   7 (Huffman) Jeremy Dickey     48    107   44.86  363    0   4 (New Caney) Darron Guillory     26    53    49.06  451    2    5 (Smiley) Yes, above average in a weak district for QB's with the exception of Starks from Crosby. I say weak because the avg. per (leading)QB in district 21-4A last year was 752 passing yds. In 22-4A it was 1180 passing yds.

It will be a GREAT game not to mention close It will be a great game, but "close". The closest the score board will be is when the ball is kicked off in the first quarter to open the game. The Broncos will be running loose all night long. Dayton wins this game easily by 4 touchdowns.
JS Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 BH will compete with Dayton in a few sports---tennis, golf and maybe the chess club----but footall ain't one of them!

Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 This looks like the Year of the QB in the area!
AJ25 Posted June 25, 2008 Author Report Posted June 25, 2008 will be quite a few good runningbacks too!
prepballfan Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 I like having a 3rd year QB in Tatum not saying he will be the best in the area but he will be less likley to beat you in game time. I think Bellows will be the most productive in the area stats wise this season.
