I wouldn't. As far as any real information or predictions, the magazine is fairly lame. Not bad to kill some time and it has a certain mystique about it that sort of brings in the yearly high school (and somewhat college) football season. As Kelly says, it gives something that can be read about football..... but I won't spend my money on it. I will pick up someone else's copy and read the local predictions or maybe just read them when they are posted on this forum.  ;D

The mag is a good read and good reference tool....BUT

It's done early spring. Old info is included because of press time. Several kids don't play anymore and are listed as well as TONS of misspelled kids' names.

If you want accurate info, contact the coaches in early August. I personally believe the magazine comes out way too early. The section in the magazine is the college previews.

Dave Campbell's Magazine is officially supposed to hit news stands on June 16th, but there are always some that sneak out early.

Texas Tech's threesome of Mike Leach, Michael Crabtree, and Graham Harrell will be on the cover.

When will the SETXsports Magazine be out?  I think our polls have more viability than Dave's.
