Guest Orangeboy Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 Jasper won behind Parsons 4-2. Headed to game 3.
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 who do you pitch now? Yates or some unknown that Jasper had hidden away  or a bunch of People. Do you think they may get Parsons in there for aleast 3 or save him maybe to close. These are things I must know ;D ;D

I'm guessing they'll go with Yates, then go with Stephenson if Yates gets into trouble in the middle of an inning (even if it's the 1st).  You might see a young lefty go for Jasper (can't remember his name).  Hart can throw also...  I believe you would see Parson's work the last three.... Regardless, someone is going to have to step up big if Jasper is going to pull this one out....  Could Parsons have pitched 4 innings next game if he would have been pulled for the last inning during the 2nd game?

If the rule has not changed from last year, Parsons can pitch ten innings over two games in the same day. Doesn't totally make sense. A pitcher can pitch as many innings as he can in the same game. Say 15 innings. Or he could have pitched 15 innings last night, and pitch as many as he is capable today. But only ten innings in two games on the same day. Jasper needs to finally unleash the bats and give the pitching some room. That would really help the pitching out in this third game. The momentum probably has shifted now to Jasper since Hutto has now lost its first game of the playoffs, and has made some errors. Go Dogs! Â

I said "probably".  Hopefully.  But absolutely, Dogs must (and will) stay focused on winning this game.Â
