Coach Gilligan said that plans are in the works to construct a new, state-of-the-art indoor hitting facility.  Thanks to a lead gift from Henry Strait to name the facility in memory of his parents, the Cardinals will construct a climate-controlled building for indoor practice. 

The new Emma and H.D. "Tex" Strait Baseball Training Center will replace the current open-air structure, and, Gilligan said, it will be "the absolutely best indoor training facility in our conference."  Strait is a devoted fan and past president of the Cardinal Club and Alumni Association.

Looking forward to the renovated Vincent-Beck. I bet it will be awesome after adding $5 million in upgrades.

Thats a big attraction to recruits... hopefully it'll help us take away that title from Sam next year.
