Guest mffl Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 I'm surprised but we will still have a player coming in who is supposedly better than Abalde in Kalis Lloyd. Good Luck Tamara you were a great one for Lamar!!!

Guest tigersvoice Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 She's gone after one season!! http://lamarcardinals.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/spec-rel/060408aaa.html I hate to lose her! Ah Man! I hate to hear this. She was soooooo smooth with that jump shot. But, she was from Spain. How much allegiance to Lamar can you expect from someone from the other side of the world. We don't know her family circumstances and this apparently is the best thing for her family at this time. I hope she becomes a sensation where ever she plays.
Guest mffl Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 It does suck to lose her but don't write this team off yet. That means 3 starters returning and then add a 6-4 beast and a 6-1 pg along with Ang Green and 6" forward.
BIGREDFAN2 Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 I hate to see her go, I guess she is doing what is best for her. I thought she was to play for Spain in the Olympics. If so maybe we will be able to see her play. I liked her sweet hook shot she would go to at times. Your right we still have a lot to look forward to with the lady cards, I just wish I could be as optimistic with the men.
Guest abovetherim Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 IMO, this is a win-win situation. Abadle turns pro after one season of college ball and Coach Tidwell can now tell recruits "come to Lamar and you can turn pro too". I bet it has been a long time since a women basketball at Lamar player turned pro at any level. I believe the last was the young lady from WO-S, last name Gant who played in the WNBA. I wish her the best and maybe one day she'll be in the WNBA!
