Serna and Partain batted in the high .300's/low .400's for the season and Svoboda was all district in a tough 21-5A district. Bender threw a No Hitter against LC Barbe. It seems a little strange that they are no even honorable mention
westend1 Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 Nobody from WB gets on here to nominate kids. Svobada was in the top 3 or 4 pitchers this year. Inever saw stats posted for these kids anywhere.

I would like to add one more young mans name to my list and that is Matthew McClelland ( Nobby) from the Kirbyville Wildcats. He came close to several no hitters this baseball season. One game that I will remember is WOS he pitched 9 innings WOS 2 , Kirbyville 1. Great Job Matthew McClelland!! Good Luck at the All Star Game June 14, 2008 at Lamar Baseball Field.
