KFDM COOP Posted June 12, 2008 Author Report Posted June 12, 2008 Newton as well should be picked but in D2.
Guest whoabroncos09 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 i hope we can win our first state title!!!!!!! =]] go broncos!
BMTSoulja1 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 i hope we can win our first state title!!!!!!! =]] go broncos! What division will Dayton most likely go in the playoffs? I guess what I am asking is what is the enrollment numbers in y'all district?
shorttexas1 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Well I know BH, Forest Park, and Crosby are all larger than Dayton!
KFDM COOP Posted June 13, 2008 Author Report Posted June 13, 2008 Their not predicting them to win State.

dayton Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 5A D1 Euless Trinity over North Shore D2 SLC over Katy 4A D1 Lake Travis over WF Rider D2 Dayton over Everman 3A D1 Navasota over China Spring D2 Waco LaVega over Liberty Hill 2A D1 Kirbyville Over Early D2 Elysian Fields over Cisco 1A D1 Canadian over Shiner D2 Roscoe over Chilton If it came down to Dayton vs. Everman I like our chances against a run based offense over a passing attack like LT's. (ie. waller, Texas city and other dist. opponents)
BMTSoulja1 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Looks like yall dodged us for the first round game! lol
WOS87 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 3A D1 Navasota over China Spring D2 Waco LaVega over Liberty Hill Why on earth would the magazine have Liberty Hill ranked #1 in their preseason rankings, yet subsequently predict that they will lose in the State Finals to #4 ranked La Vega? Dave Campbell is contradicting himself
82 5A State Champs Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Well I know BH, Forest Park, and Crosby are all larger than Dayton! Forest Park ??? huh? Dont tell me I'm the only one that caught that!
82 5A State Champs Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 5A Div 2.......I dont think Katy or SLC will make it that far. I think Pflugerville will be there again.

Dave Campbell is contradicting himself In 2A the mag has: #13 Kirbyville over #3 Early in D1 and #8 Elysian Fields over #1 Cisco in D2
bronco1 Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 3A D1 Navasota over China Spring D2 Waco LaVega over Liberty Hill Why on earth would the magazine have Liberty Hill ranked #1 in their preseason rankings, yet subsequently predict that they will lose in the State Finals to #4 ranked La Vega? Dave Campbell is contradicting himself The rankings are Padilla poll and the predictions are Dave Campbell's bunch. They are going to contradict each other some. I hope the predictions are correct.
prepballfan Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 The only one thing about rankings thats true is that they are never right. I hope that more local teams than that do good but only time and football will tell. Goodluck to all local teams this year unlike some naysayers on here I pull for any SE Texas team once there out of district. I see some good stuff pulling together for this season.
stangchain Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 It's hard to put much stock in their predictions after last year. They didn't pick WOS to even WIN district.....It's okay, though. I like proving them wrong.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 Hopefully Lumberton will win State.
Bucof2010 Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Hopefully Lumberton will win State. Hopefully E.C. Will win state. Hopefully HF will win state. Hopefully Vidor will win state. Hopefully 10 teams from this area will win state.
raidernaytion Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Hopefully Lumberton will win State. The Lumerton Raiders will win state.
JS Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Hopefully Lumberton will win State. The Lumerton Raiders will win state. when pigs fly
Bucof2010 Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Hopefully Lumberton will win State. The Lumerton Raiders will win state. Wouldn't it be safer to say they'll make it out of district or they'll beat lcm....kind of bold ungrounded prediction.
