Guest etbu Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 Houston Wrestling was the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the Sam Houston Coliseum? With Paul Bosch. How about the Great Kabuki?
Guest etbu Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 The Great Kabuki in action. Ha Man that was a long time ago.
westend1 Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 My favorite was Fritz Von Erich. Wrestlers used to beg him not to use the "iron claw"!!
BBrutal Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Crusher Staziack, Johnnie Valentine and Super Sock Jose Latherio
Razor Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Coop-insider, you did not throw out the Mongolian Stomper and Tiger Conway, Jr? Both classics!
silentassasin Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 My cousin used to go to church with Von Erichs in Dallas before Kerry went WWF and became the Texas Tornado. I have to say that Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka was always one of my favorites.
Quacker37 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Hacksaw Jim Duggins were two of my favorite
silentassasin Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Hacksaw and Macho Man came through the airport when my best friend was working at a car rental place in Lubbock and he talked with them that night. It was funny because at the time they were "fueding" on the story line but they actually were on the rental agreement as co-signers and told him they were staying in the same hotel room. That is when I finally gave up and said it is fake!!!
thetragichippy Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 ANDRE THE GIANT! Seen him in Houston!!
SlobberKnocker Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 I was a huge fan of Terry Funk. The dude was 50 years old still doing backflips from the top rope.
AggiesAreWe Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I can't believe none of you have mentioned the "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.
KFDM COOP Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I was a huge fan of Terry Funk. The dude was 50 years old still doing backflips from the top rope. I loved Funk
KFDM COOP Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I can't believe none of you have mentioned the "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Ole Dusty! I agree, he was a legend
Gabe Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I have a friend whose dad called Ric Flair a certain part of the male body where it hurts to get kicked. He loves telling that story but for the life of me I can't remember it right off. I know he is still around but Sting has always been one of my favorites, especially old school Sting before the Crow look a like.
