WO-S will have some size this year as well. Jon sturlese has gone from 230 to about 280. Tim Matherne is about 260. We will have size. The skill people, well, they are typical WO-S skill people. 8)

Hart was one of the sophomores of the year on the All Southeast Texas BaseballTeam ...He was reportedly in the running for the QB this yr

Ellis is a sophomore this..he is a Gilbert Moye type QB, maybe a little faster

when I talked to coach Brack he mentioned the Ellis kid said he could be a force to be reckend with . said he had a good passing arm and good speed

I think I remember him from when Jaspers 8th grade team played WO-S a couple of years ago. He's a tall kid. They didn't thow any so I don't know about his arm, but I remember he's pretty athletic.

Yes, Spikes will be a force. he has the potential to be a monster! And he has also played some QB?? Jasper probably missed him almost as much last year as they did Moye. Things are looking up for the Dogs!!

Wow! Jasper already had 6 plus 6 starters back, and now Spikes is back from 04. Folks may not realize what a key part he became in the playoffs to the finals as a starting freshman. It is great to have Spikes back! He is worth four or five regular players. :wink:
