adminbaberuth Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 The Angels' Jeff Weaver had a no hitter through 8, but was losing 1-0 to the Dodgers. Since it's interleague, Weaver lifted for PH. It's going to 9th, Dodgers with no hits, but winning.
Guest Orangeboy Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 Weaver threw 6 full innings before he was pulled. At that time he was over 100 pitches. Jose Arradondo threw the 7-8 innings. The thing that bothers me is its not considered a no-hitter because the Angels only threw 8 innings. If a team gets 0 hits in a game it should be a no-hitter.
