i think the judges of this fight are connected with the ref from the NBA somehow. there is no way griffin won. griffin only had one good round, and its cause he held him down the whole time. the 3rd round might have been a draw, but other than that jackson won.

are you kidding me? sounds like someone lost a bet and needs to watch the replay... all rampage did was stand there and wait for counter punches hoping for a knock out and learned ufc is not just about boxing

I read a few articles today explaining the fight.

Judges probably went Griffins way because he dictated the fight. Jackson landed a few more punches which did more damage yet Griffin was the one pushing towards Rampage.

Plus the second round was a huge round for Griffin which ended up making the difference.

AJ did u even watch the fight??? Griffin was the clear winner i think the judges scored it closer than it should have been..... the fights are judged based on 1)striking, 2)grappling, 3)aggression, and 4)cage control... the only one of those categories that was even closely in rampages favor was striking, griffin dominated him when it went to the ground, chased him around the cage and engaged in almost all of the exchanges,..... griffin pushed the pace and after those 3 devastating leg kicks in round 2 rampage kept his weight back and waited for a counted punch knockout.....rampage even said after the fight that his leg was messed up after rd 2......

i should've put IMO.

but, i do agree, jackson was waiting back too much. griffin forced everything.

however, i don't believe that griffin laying on top of him in the 2nd round was good enough for a win.

but it's in the past. was a very good fight regardless. didn't ever expect it to go five rounds!
