WTB Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Did Lumberton win last night or will they be playing the final game in Tyler County???
westend1 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 I think tyler County won. They have a couple of hard throwers!
RuffRaider Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Tyler County won 8 to 7 in seven innings. Lumberton put 2 up in the top of the 6th to tie the game and held Tyler County scoreless in the bottom. In the top of the 7th, Lumberton scored one run. In the bottom of the 7th, Lumberton had some pitching problems and walked in the tie-ing run and then the next batter hit a single between first & second to score the winning run. Excellent game played by both teams. Tyler County and Lumberton play tonight in Woodville at 7:30 for the District 12 Championship. Both teams will be throwing their #1 pitchers.
hattie Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Last night both teams threw their #1 pitchers. Tonight Lumberton threw their #2 (who I might say is huge) and TC threw #3,4,5. Lumberton won 10-5. Good luck to Lumberton! Congratulations!!!!!! We in Tyler County believe that you will represent District 12 very well.
TradinUp BH Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Good job Lumberton, now you play Nederland in the first game of the sectionals in The Woodlands.
MPrice Posted July 10, 2008 Report Posted July 10, 2008 When and what time do they play. Im working in houston and would like to see these two play. Ned is very good but I heard Lumberton is also. I know the Leger kid and he is tough.
TradinUp BH Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 Sorry machine for the late response, but I just looked on the unpage site, but I didn't get a time. I don't think they had it. The district that ORWALL is in may have the schedule, but not sure.
