Guest gladiator2 Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Is the 12 yr old LL State Tournament in Waco or Tyler? I keep seeing in the PA News that whoever wins sectionals will be going to Waco for the State Tournament and then back to Waco for the Southwest Regional. I know in 2006 Groves had to go to Tyler after sectionals for State and then went to Waco for the Southwest Regional. If people have to go to Waco 2 weeks in row that is going to be hell. Tyler is also a pretty good ride but Waco is out there. I can tell you that Waco has an awesome looking field. I would hope that is a misprint about going to Waco twice. I can't see that happening for a 4 team state tournament.
Guest gladiator2 Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 I just found it, the next stop after the sectional tournament is Tyler, Tx. on July 19-23. The newspaper just has a misprint. I'm wondering if all of the Nederland people know this because I was sitting next a man in BC and he said that his daughter was the one booking all of the rooms. He said that they already had their rooms booked in Waco and Williamsport. I asked him what about Tyler and he didn't know what I was talking about.
