PNG1992 Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 with the new BISD Athletic Complex getting built whats going to happen to Durley & Zaharias Stadiums? JV games? Practice fields? Torn down?
PNG1992 Posted July 13, 2008 Author Report Posted July 13, 2008 they will become sub varsity Stadiums. How do the 3 schools & the fans feel about sharing a stadium over each having their own. I know Ozen fans are probably very happy to get out of Cardinal Stadium but Central and West Brook had their own places, West Brooks right in their backyard. Would they have preferred to do some bigtime upgrades to the existing stadiums or is everyone content with moving into the new digs together? Just a topic starter, and im curious.
BearWolf Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 the teams are tired of flipping for home and home in the playoffs and having to declare Galena Park their home stadium. Winning the flip and playing at home obviously will be a plus.
