This past weekend was a great weekend for softball in Ft Worth.  Not a great weekend for Crush Coaches.  First of all let me say, the OC-G played well and Shockers got their bid and congrats to both.  One of the highlites of the weekend was watch the homeplate umpire chunk CC.  He looked like a major league umpire throwing Bobby Cox out of a baseball game.  Then after the next pitch Jeff V. questioned his eye sight and he got tossed.  I think they jsut wanted a Lemon Chill they were selling at the concession stand.  It was classic!    Stircrazy and I got to finish coaching the game.

From what I heard in Beaumont the both 12U Crush-Collins coaches got chunked and News came about as close to getting thrown as you can get. 

Must have been the heat!

Try CRUSHING some prozack and mixing it with the Redman.  If that dont work--it makes for a good spit shine on the umps shoes.  ;D

HEY, Crush (Jaynes) used the same ice and we all acted civil.  Had no trouble at all.

Nope....he was a nice guy.  He helped me get to coach!

LOL.  Next time I work a OCG game, let me know if you want to coach and I'll see what I can do.   ;)

Pappa,

  NEWS did get a little "elevated" in one game in particular.  I have ABSOULTELY NO IDEA how he stayed around for the last couple of innings.  As he sprinted from the 1st base coaches box to the plate, the rest of the coaches did "Rock, Paper, Scissors" to see who would take his spot.  ;D

Cheater did a great job at first base. We put a piece of tape on his mouth so he couldn't talk. We did have some good EMPIRES until that last game. CC didn't even get time to call him a MO-RON or any of his other famous lines. Viator said it was just to dang hot and he was ready to get in the shade. I on the other hand came off the bench and gave a motivational speech that has worked in the past but it just didn't work this time. If anybody would like to play on some nice fields then the short drive to FT WORTH is the place to go. They were top-notch. Plenty of water in the dugouts and they tried to stay on time as much as possible.
