Should be a great game! Gilmer lost alot of SR's but always has Athletes. Coach Brooks and Jasper will be even better this year so i wouldn't be surprised if Jasper came out on top.

I doubt that Gilmer is "down".  Yes, it is incredible the number of Div I athletes they run through that school.  They may have only one offensive "starter" back, but I hear last year's starters only played about half of each game.  Gilmer will have plenty of experience on the field, they will be reloading, not rebuilding.  But I do believe the Dogs will be ready to feast on some Buckeye!

I learned a long time ago that state rankings don't mean anything. Jasper's been #1 on more than a few occasions, especially in 4A back in the 80's and what did it do for us then? Nada. Let's just win games and see if we can be #1 when it really matters.

I'd rather Jasper spend the season flying under the radar, but that won't happen if we can start out strong in these next few weeks...

I believe Jasper will win but not by much. Gilmer always puts together a good team yr after yr. This yr will not be any different. Jasper by 7 or 10
