BTW WOS87, in that particular year, we know which game was the important one.

Before this gets into a you-know-what contest, you don't have to remind me how many wins my Tigers have over the Stangs, way way too few. But we are undefeated against WOS in the playoffs. ;D

WOS...did you ever get a copy of the highlight tape that has the music with it?  It is awesome!!!!  THAT would be a great youtube video, too!

No... I haven't heard of the tape.... 

The first part of the 4th Quarter is now up on YouTube...  if you don't check out any other part of the game... check out this clip starting at the 8:54 time point as there is a short interview with a VERY young Todd Dodge commenting.  He was the Quarterback Coach for Rockwall at the time.

To date... NO 4A Texas team has ranked as highly as the 1987 Mustangs did in the Final USA Today Nationwide Rankings since it was first published starting in 1982....  no La Marque team, no Stephenville team, no Ennis team

West Brook was also ranked #15 at the end of their State Championship season in 1982 yet were only the 3rd highest ranked team from Texas that year. TJ was #12 despite losing in the first round of the playoffs.

I remember this, this is ridiculous a team from lower classification doing this.  Some folks thought this team was the best in the state bar none.  I have a hunch this years WOS team will be one to remember, hide and watch.
