Even if Lamar were to get an official team.... it would be made up just as the Womens is... as in the majority of the players would not be representing this area... the fact of the matter is that our area produces good soccer players... but not as many Div. 1 quality players as you think... dont get me wrong there are some... but if this post was made in asperations of promoting south east texas soccer players as that, then you are mistaken

The issue is not the level of soccer in southeast Texas.  The issue is gender equity.  The reinstatement of a football program ended any possibility of other men's sports being added at LU.
