I would imagine the fans will some how end up paying for this in the long run.

I was here saying this very same thing over a year ago, before gas went to $4. I stressed reality will set in at some point. Now maybe it has. I think this is the death blow to the scheme to split districts up large and small, so it would cause 300 mile round trips.
