Guest stircrazy Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 A big thanks needs to go out to ALL of the local organizations for helping get so many girls signed or committed to playing ball at some college. CRUSH,SHOCKERS,ROWDIE are just a few with several more either starting up or growing. It used to be only the BLAST in the area that you heard got girls signed but now everyone has shifted their train of thought from beating up on each other to helping out whenever possible. I know that we had 2 coaches that wanted to see a couple of kids on the left side bunt or slap at NAFA Nationals and we were happy to do it. It just might have got these girls an offer. A few years ago this would not have been done. Also with more girls emailing colleges we are getting more coaches to watch our girls. JT and Becky have helped several organizations on how to do this. Cheater who does our talking has never met a coach he couldn't talk to. He was practicing in Sulphur by talking the BARK off an OAK TREE . Mr. Wiese has done a good job for Shockers also. They also share info as do lots of folks on here and that is GREAT for all of our girls. Again Thanks from a 2010 dad who knows my daughter will have a better chance next year than she would have had several years ago.
