AFC77 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Who wins this game? Will it be close once again this year?
silentassasin Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 I think Liberty wins this one to start the season off right.
the wise one Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 this has been a good rivalry these past few years but i see liberty taking this one in a close one
ALLABOUTSTATE4BC09 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 BC they're D's gonna ba lot better this year and Liberty lost thier big running back...the only advantage Liberty is gonna have is that the game is at Liberty... early prediction but I think BC takes it..
Guest etbu Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Luv BC but have to go with our district so go Panthers.
AFC77 Posted August 10, 2008 Author Report Posted August 10, 2008 yes we did lose our big running back but we do have some talented running backs this year that are in my opinion quicker than he was.
3apantherfan Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Panthers will win! It may be another close game but panthers will win. I agree AFC, the backs we have this year are faster, and i really cant wait to see Gibbs run the ball! He will have a HUGE season if he can just hold on to it!
Tallboi Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 With the offense that Liberty runs it's easier to contain speed rather than size.... I think BC always has a good game plan for the Panthers should be a fun game to watch.........
Wes57 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 We have a new AD-Headcoach so the old offense Liberty ran is out the window. The Liberty-Bridge City games are usually close and I'm sure this game will be no different. Liberty should have alot of speed this year.
AFC77 Posted August 10, 2008 Author Report Posted August 10, 2008 I agree 3aPantherfan if he will hold onto it we will have sucess with him...and we have a few other running backs new to the varsity level that are just as good as with with just a little more size.

Jeff Gibbs was amazing running the ball last year untill the fumbles took him out of the lineup. He's got so much speed and talent though that you have to have him somewhere in the lineup. Personally I think he's a very good cornerback on defense if he doesn't make it on offense.

Hey AFC77, whats the offensive and defensive lines look like for this year. What are the sizes of these guys.

Guest BCNatureBoy Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Is Gibbs the RB with the monster thighs?
AFC77 Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 Hey WES the offinsive line is looking good. We are still trying to get use to the new offense some but got most the kinks worked out. The defensive line is looking really good. They have good speed and are also decent size. They will definitly be better than last season and making more tackles. And no CrackerJack Gibbs isnt the one with the big thighs.
