Guest coachacola Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 From KFDM: The Salem Avalanche, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Houston Astros, used a scorching offense and stingy pitching to nab both ends of a Tuesday evening doubleheader 8-2 and 6-0 against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium. Salem (18-33) got five no-hit innings from Bryan Hallberg in game two and three total home runs from Collin DeLome in sweeping Myrtle Beach (35-16). badndn Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 He has 22 total home runs between Low A (12) and High A (10) this season and he leads the High A team in HR with about half as many AB's. His only negative is he K's a lot and he is batting in the .230's. But I look for him to be in AA next season.
