LP1989 Posted August 21, 2008 Report Posted August 21, 2008 The thing that Dayton had that Vidor doesn't is speed. Size alone isn't going to hurt them. they do have size and strength and a QB WITH A GREAT ARM this will be a challenge for the pirates
Majestyk Posted August 21, 2008 Report Posted August 21, 2008 Hope they are able to mow that field tomorrow, went by there today and grass was very high, too high for football anyway.
skipper Posted August 22, 2008 Author Report Posted August 22, 2008 yes the grass is needing to be cut bad
Gasilla Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 yes the grass is needing to be cut bad I've got to go by there this morning. I'll give a report on the field condition later. If I know Dan, that field will get mowed and the grass will be short as possible.
td Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 Its been many, many years (too many than I care to mention) since I went to a high school scrimmage. Just curious whats the charge now a days to get in? There isn't a fee to get in but come hungry and thirsty. We will have pizza, water and gatorade along with some type of chocolate. So please don't bring in outside food and drinks.
rhino1877 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 The field is in great shape....and the grass is cut, gasilla!
td Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 Will u fix me up Td? Always Coop. BTW the field has been mowed.
KFDM COOP Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 Alot of Sun today so it should be in great shape!
dayton Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 Alot of Sun today so it should be in great shape! I was just thinking that. somebody come back with a full report. I'm really interested in how Vidor will do this year.
td Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 I can't do a report because I have been declared head water and pizza boy.
td Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 I think they might be trying to play to my strengths. Maybe there is a lesson to be learned about my talents or lack there of.
