Here's an article from rivals on Jolivette, seems like he wants to go to a school for Academics:

Coming back from injury isn't always the easiest thing in the world. But Blake Jolivette showed this summer that if there was any pain, he was able to more than effectively play through it. The smart 6-foot, 180-pound point guard from St. Thomas High School in Houston simply had fun playing with his Houston Hoops Woods squad on the circuit and his qualities as a floor leader have brought in scholarship offers from some of the top academic institutions in the country.

"My summer went well," Jolivette said. "We finished out in Vegas where we got into the quarterfinals, so we got pretty far there. I was happy with just my leadership and my ability to control a game. From last summer to this summer I've grown a lot and my (high school) coach was the main reason I had so much growth. I had some schools looking at me last summer, but after a year working with him it's really helped things take off."

Going into the AAU circuit, Jolivette had garnered plenty of recruiting interest but was waiting for someone to pull the trigger on him. Suffice it to say he's no longer offer-less. "My recruiting picked up toward the end of the summer and now I've gotten eight offers," Jolivette said. "Right now I'm trying to narrow them down to about three or four visits, but I'm still open to anything."

Jolivette's current list of offers reads in alphabetical order: American, Army, Colgate, Dartmouth, Furman, Holy Cross, Lamar, and Yale. Visits to three of them are already set. "I'm going to Yale on September 26th and the next weekend I'm going to both Holy Cross and Furman," Jolivette said. "Now I'm trying to set up a fourth and it's between American and Colgate."

While he remains open to other opportunities, Jolivette likes the options that are in front of him and has a strategy on how he'll come to an eventual choice. "These are all great academic schools and that's what I've always wanted, and the coaching staffs are all great too," Jolivette said. "So I'm looking at style of play and I'm trying to take visits to all of them and also have their coaches do in-home visits with me too. Then I'll probably decide sometime in October."

Texas Hoops Analyst: BLAKE is a smooth floor leader that plays with a lot of passion. He is a very smart point guard that sees the floor and hits the open man. He will hit the three when open and penetrates past the defense and will get to the rim. He is a good defender and has nice quickness and speed.

Time for Roc and LU to sign a player that can take over a game in the SLC.  LU has had some really good players in the past few years, but they need someone that can put the rest of the Cardinals on his back and carry them to a SLC Tourney Title and a NCAA berth.  Dawkins and Nabors are solid but who else will LU have this year as a huge impact player?

Well see the next thread. I think Silvey Dominquez will help out tremendously in recruiting the west coast... i mean shoot, he recruited for a team who went to the Elite 8! (Of course so did Roc)
