westend1 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 Just left the scrimmage. Brook was up 30-21 and starters were coming out. Michael had 7 carries for about 210 yards and 4 tds, plus a return of 50 and one catch for 20. Donte looked good at the wideout, as did Grant and Garrett. DLine is gonna need some work. Didn't stop the run too well. Lucky Lufkin passing game was poor.
Guest kf89 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 just left wb scrimmage, C. MICHEAL IS THE REAL DEAL.
BearWolf Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 just left wb scrimmage, C. MICHEAL IS THE REAL DEAL. all HS football fans should see this player at least once this season.
westend1 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 About 180 of his yards came after he was hit. Amazing runs on every touch. He benches and squats more than most linemen and almost every linebacker.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 That's why he is on the cover of the Examiner 2008 HS Football Guide!!!!!
AJ25 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 just left wb scrimmage, C. MICHEAL IS THE REAL DEAL. all HS football fans should see this player at least once this season. tonight was my only chance to see him with lumberton not having a by week. he is ridiculous

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 how did Claybon look at QB for LP? Michael is going to get 2,000 or more this year...wow
westend1 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 Lufkin QB was a good runner. Passing was not very accurate.

AJ25 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 AJ I was wondering if you made it to the game. Please give these people some idea what we are seeing here at WB. somethin i really believe could be once in a lifetime. 7 carries, 4 td's. he looked like an 18 year old playing with some 7th graders. and this was against LUFKIN! this kid is veryy special.
zeroturn Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 west brook a very special runner c mike need more kids like very polite and level headed way to #33
Guest WeedBegone Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 #33 was a good show. It all comes down to other offensive weapons stepping up to keep strong defenses from keying on him. If he gets across the line of scrimmage--he is dangerous and it is not only speed, he has great vision and can pick up blocks and change direction. The Brook will go far if they can get the QB some pass protection to give them a better balanced attack. The defensive backs could be a little less timid and attack the ball a little better. WB will need to keep working on depth--especially in the defense. Both teams have lots of talent. Way to go Brook.
bullets13 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 sounds like a very impressive outing. how good is lufkin supposed to be this year?
KFDM COOP Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 Good! Lufkin did lose alot of SR's but return one of the best QB's around. I have WB picked to win the District... This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up
