BOBBYBOUCHE Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 does anyone remember a show that used to come on after the 10oclock news maybe on channel 12 back in the early 80's?i remember watching it with my grandparents all the time but i don't remember the promoter.i believe most of the shows were based in texas and the south,they also had the guerreros(mispelled?) and terry taylor was just starting out.i think it may have came on sat or sun nights.thanks
PNG70 Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 I Believe ur referring to UWF Wrestling it came on right after the 10pm News on Channel 12 back in the late 80s.Bill Watts was the promoter and all the TV Shows were taped in Oklahoma.

HoopInsider_Cooper Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 Yep, Mid South and UWF (the early stages) were taped in Shreveport at the Irish McNeil Boys Club...I asked Ted Dibiase (SR) about those days and he said that place had no a/c and no hot water!!!
