Softball20 Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 That number 5 just slapped a HUGE target on the Bobcats' backs in 21-3A.
Bobcat1 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Number 5 is my sister, and she is up for the challenge.
revfaulk Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 that's definitely a bold statement to make.... let's see how things play out for them. i doubt they take first, but i think this is going to be one of their best years ever. their coach is a good coach and will have them playing like they are supposed to. i have watched them in the past and they did everything in very unorthodox manner. they are going to have that staightened out and give everyone a run for their money.
Cat22 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 That number 5 just slapped a HUGE target on the Bobcats' backs in 21-3A. What for? What's she suppose to say? I would have been dissapointed if is didn't have that attitude. Shouldn't it be everyones goal to win district.
Guest bleed orange Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 I agree Cat, Most kids would say the samething. All teams don't go into district saying they want second or third.
dad33 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Confidence is always an asset in competition.
Red Pepper Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 I kinda agree with you dad33. However, I probably would say one of the following: Confidence can be an asset in competition. and/or Overconfidence can be a distractor in competition. I fully agree with two remarks by revfalk in reference to #5's prediction. "Let's see how thinks play out for them." & "This is going to be one of their better years ever." Bobcat05; I'm sure you are right when you say "she is up for the challenge". Peace to my Brothers & Sisters from OF.
