They have one great advantage--that is simply that they play very smart Offense and Defense. They keep the opponents off-stride and thus compete well with novel counters against the aggressiveness of the foe. WestBrook is no pushover they have good athletes on that team.

Red Pepper Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Might make the team even better when Sam returns. She is a powerful force to be dealt with on the front line. She has the ability to discourage good hitters which she showed in last year's playoffs. Of course this is only good news if Coach Mathews can fit her into the lineup without loosing the current team chemistry. I have confidence that she will continue making her team better and better.
Gabe Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Sam had a great block to end the match last year against Bellville. Trust me, Becca has been spending many hours on how to work Sam back in there where she belongs while also keeping the team together. That will not be a problem.
