Beckett, despite considered as one of the greatest pitchers in todays game, has never reached 205 innings in a season his career. OLGabe, this is the reason i told you a couple months ago i wouldnt take beckett if i could have any pitcher. You just can not count on him to stay healthy. Now its possible the Red Sox wont have Beckett for the postseason. Give me Santana, Halladay, Webb, Peavy, Sabathia, Oswalt, and maybe even Lincecum. If we are comparing oft injured pitchers, i might take Rich Harden over Beckett, look how dominant that guy is when hes healthy.
