The Lamar University volleyball team opens its 2008 season on Friday and Saturday as the Lady Cardinals play in the Baylor Invitational at the Ferrell Center on the campus of Baylor University, opening with Prairie View A&M at 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon, and will face SMU and Baylor on Saturday.
