BCWOSfan Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Check out www.stormpulse.com, its suppose to be a site the Navy uses... Its very informative with a ton of detail.
82 5A State Champs Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Ooooh, I like that one! Especially because it shows the track farther to the East than before. ;D
PURPLE 4EVER Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 WOW... Click on forecast models on the top right and turn it on.... They all form a bead line right to the mouth of the Mississippi. That would seem to be a worse case scenario for New Orleans.
82 5A State Champs Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 As of now, it looks like landfall to be heading for the Houma-Lafayette area. The question is, how strong will it be?
82 5A State Champs Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Cat 3 at least DOH!!!(Homer Simpson). If that thing makes landfall as a Cat 3 in Houma, we would still get alot of high wind. Maybe something in the neighborhood of Cat 2 winds, COOP? Still not gonna be good.
