jdawg03 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 We got Colbert in district play. ITS ON! Run it up Titans! Thats really funny
WOS92 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 With two of the Rivals.com top 100 in TX, WO-S will be just fine. BC or Silsbee will be the odd man out.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 Thats really funnyI was at first mad then I thought like wow---we can get some revenge. I hope they're good and we play them for like district title or the last playoff spot and trash them in P.A. by like 50.
jdawg03 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 i just hope yall have a football team first and foremost
fredh Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 Also Crawford has ties just like Buna and wanted to remain 2a. It is funny they turned in 195 the start number for 2a.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 i just hope yall have a football team first and foremostMan things so messed up in P.A. its pitiful. They prolly gonna go get Jesse Jackson and have a dangum march down Gulfway drive.
Ex-Card-86 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 Why all the crying about Buna going 2A. Would it have made it more fair for a school with 413 students to be thrown in the mix with WOS,BC,Jasper, and Silsbee? (All of which were 4A 4 to 6 years ago) I didn't see them crying when they moved down. Just curious?
Cat22 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 If Buna would have stayed 3A then they would have probably kept the districts like it was, giving better opportunities for some of the smaller schools.
Ex-Card-86 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Smaller schools did get a better chance like Buna and Anahuac! Buna could not compete on the same level as those other schools as you well know. Now they have a fair shake!
Cat22 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 I agree too, they do a fair shake now. I'm just thinking about my Bobcats. I don't think we have a fair shake. We only have about 60 more students than Buna, but we still have to play the larger schools.
KFDM COOP Posted February 3, 2006 Author Report Posted February 3, 2006 I understand...Wish the UIL could do some more tweaking..
Cat22 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Not much more I can say, we just have to suck it up and play. Who knows what will happen!
KFDM COOP Posted February 3, 2006 Author Report Posted February 3, 2006 You never know! Think positive!
Castor27 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Not much more I can say' date=' we just have to suck it up and play. Who knows what will happen![/quote'] I understand exactly what you're saying. Even if you have no chance to make the playoffs, it still may be fun to play spoiler to those that can!
WOSgrad Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 how can 21-3a be so good and 22-3a be so weak.... those are gonna make for some UGLY playoffs games in all sports I am here to tell ya, bi-district is looking pretty scary is you are over in 22-3A. Of course, they point to what Huffman did to WO-S a couple of years ago. The problem, this is no Huffman in that bunch. This mega district also has created some difference in who goes in what Division. Over the past couple of years, WO-S knew it was going DI if it made the playoffs. But since Silsbee (829) and Jasper (816), both have larger ADM's than WO-S (806) it is almost a guarantee that WO-S will be a DII rep if it makes the playoffs.
WOS92 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Cat22, remember that WO-S went to state in 2000 with one of 4As smallest enrollments. It can happen.
KFDM COOP Posted February 3, 2006 Author Report Posted February 3, 2006 That will be good, at least a change.
