the only reason #9 stayed close to #21 for ned is cuz he held him on almost every play.

Looked like good defense to me, it's only a penalty if they throw a flag. 

Much like the fair catch call the kid made and then took off running. It's only illegal if they throw a flag.

I don't see why anyone would be complaining about the holding that was occurring, it obviously had no affect on Cardenas' ability to have his way last Friday.  That's the mark of a GREAT player, he saw how physical the refs were letting things get, so he stepped up his game and made most every catch.  That's how football is played, it's the ones who can't adjust who get left in the dust.  I don't think any educated fan had any issue with it, the guy just left his flag in his pocket all night.
