Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 after week one which RB would you take on your team?
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 30, 2008 Author Report Posted August 30, 2008 front runners for the willie ray smith award
BMTSoulja1 Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 How did I know this topic would come up? ;D ;D
Majestyk Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Both are studs, we are blessed. Comparisons are inevitable, let's just enjoy.
BigWolf10 Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 I'd have to take them both. It would wear out any defense in the state. Hellava one two punch.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 31, 2008 Author Report Posted August 31, 2008 id have to take Michael. only because he's bigger
skipper Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 garrett has JUST STARTED he will run wild with his OL getting better each game
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 1, 2008 Author Report Posted September 1, 2008 wonder who will have more yards by seasons end, minus the playoffs
jr1979 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 wonder who will have more yards by seasons end, minus the playoffs i belive Garrett, not to take away from michael, but wos will change their offense (like suggested earlier) to fit there personel.
Gasilla Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 I don't think WOS needs to change anything. You can't argue with 458 yds of offense.
Htexans90 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Christine Michael, hands down Quinny is a real good back though, he has a great sense of balance, kinda like Barry Sanders
westend1 Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Is Garrett a senior? Has he been recruited much?
AggiesAreWe Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 I don't think WOS needs to change anything. You can't argue with 458 yds of offense. I was going to say the same thing, Gasilla. ;D BTW, I'll take Michael and believe me, that's no knock on Garrett.
Gasilla Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 I don't think Garrett is getting much attention right now because he played behind his brother last year. However, games like last Friday will get him on the radar screen quick!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 1, 2008 Author Report Posted September 1, 2008 wonder if Tech will be looking at him by seasons end? perfect size for the spread system.
24 over par Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 both garrett and michael were great last week
kicker Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 wonder if Tech will be looking at him by seasons end? perfect size for the spread system. That would be a great offensive scheme for him.
jr1979 Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 I don't think WOS needs to change anything. You can't argue with 458 yds of offense. when i say change i'm talking about the "SPREAD." they have only run this offense in this game only. i am very aware that we don't need to change this offense, just use it more often than the"SPREAD". time will tell.
stangchain Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 I like the idea that they could keep defenses off balance not knowing what could be run!!!! Sounds like a pretty good scheme to me, if the kids can handle it!
jr1979 Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Is Garrett a senior? Has he been recruited much? yes he's a senior. and know he's not being recruited at this time. flying under the radar like alot of the mustang seniors. this team reminds me of the new england patriots, the first time they won the super bowl, or better yet the 2001 Mustang team that lost the state championship game. In the way that there is not a lot of big names on this squad, but they are playing together like a team. I know it is stil early in the season, but this is my feeling right now. 8)
Master T Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 They both are good running back but I could never compare them cause they both are used to different offenses.

That's what I'm talking about. Just because he had a big game doesn't mean you go to the "I" or something like that. The spread is great because it keeps the defense off balance. Even though you are having success with the run, you can't abandon the pass. You have to stay balanced.
