What?  ??? ??? ??? Both schools don't have to come to the same conclusion.  All it takes is for ONE to back out.  WOS wants to play.  The game needs to be played.  For it to be on KOGT, word has been received that it has been cancelled.

If you're talking about LCM/WOS it was not both schools. It only takes one school to cancel a game.

Yes Orange County schools start back on Thursday.

And just to put it in perspective, LCM had an open week last week, therefore they have had more time to prepare for WOS than WOS has to prepare for them.  They SHOULD be ready to go.  Why aren't they wanting to play then?

Think about it if you were the LC-M head coach and your record was 8 and 20 over the last 3 years and you wanted to leave, wouldn't you do anything to avoid another loss on your record. He is having a hard time getting a job, I heard that he applied for about 30 jobs this past summer and got turned down for even a JV head coaching job. He is trying to salvage his record so maybe some sucker will hire him next year. Unfortunately to avoid more losses he should hope for a hurricane every week. It is sad that the kids have worked their but off for this man and he doesn't have enough confidence in them to let them play and see what happens.

Perhaps the players and fans should call the school board and super to voice their opinion about the game being cancelled.  If they don't want to play the game, then the HC will take the rap for it!!!!
